North Operations, based at Sheriff Headquarters, is responsible for Patrol services in the unincorporated areas north of the city of Irvine and contract police services for the cities of Stanton and Villa Park. North Operations is responsible for specialized law enforcement functions including the Security Bureau, Special Events, Critical Incident Response Team, School Crossing Guards and the Orange County Fairground.  The Emergency Communications Bureau, comprised of Dispatch and Control One is also a part of North Operations.
