2006 OCLEEAA Winter Academy

The Orange County Law Enforcement Explorer Advisor Association (OCLEEAA) sponsored the 2006 Winter Explorer Academy at the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Center in Los Alamitos, California, from February 17th through February 20th. The Explorer Academy simulates an abbreviated basic law enforcement academy. 105 explorers, from throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties, began the academy; 95 successfully graduated. Orange County Sheriff’s Department Explorer Post 449 was strongly represented and proudly saw 11 explorers graduate at the Los Alamitos Base Theater on February 20th. Sheriff Michael S. Carona, Captain Dave Wilson, Lieutenant Tom Slayton and Lieutenant Roger Neumeister were present at the graduation. We would like to congratulate the following explorers from Post 449 for a very impressive showing:
