California Gold Rush is an interactive website with information on the people and history of the Gold Rush.  Virtual tours of current exhibits at the Oakland California Gold Rush Museum are available online, and historical images are displayed.



California Native Tribes at Internet Public Library offers a portal to information on the history and culture of Native American tribes in California and the US.



Early California History  The Library of Congress American Memory website offers detailed information on early California, its geography, inhabitants, and history.  Included are primary resource materials.
