OCSD is participating again in the American Red Cross’ annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive competition. The Battle of the Badges is a spirited competition amongst more than 200 different Southern California law enforcement agencies – each vying to recruit healthy blood donors at a time when donations traditionally decline.
Every two seconds someone in America needs blood. There is a constant need for blood across the communities we serve and that is why our department is supporting this life-saving blood drive competition.
Please join us and do your part by donating blood at one of the following locations:
Wednesday, February 13 – 7:00 am – 7:00 pm Intake Release Center (IRC) - 550 North Flower Street in Santa Ana
Scheduled to appear: - Retired MMA and UFC Champion Tito Ortiz from Noon – 4:00 pm - Los Angeles Lakers Girls - Los Angeles Kings Ice Crew - Face Painting and Balloon Artist for Kids
Friday, February 15 – 11:00 am – 5:00 pm Katella Training Facility – 1900 West Katella in Orange
