Presidents' Day was established in 1885 to commemorate our first president George Washington's birthday on February 22. in 1971, the holiday was moved to the third Monday of February and celebrates all U.S. presidents past and present. This February, Drug Use is Life Abuse sent a group of Orange County high school students to the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) conference in Washington D.C. The students had the invaluable opportunity to network with others around the nation to discuss best practices for reducing drug use in our community. While there, the students toured Washington D.C. and visited the Lincoln Memorial. Happy Presidents' Day.
