October 4- October 27 is Red Ribbon Week, encouraging kids to say NO to drugs and live drug-free lives. OCSD kicked off Red Ribbon Week celebrations with the Walk Against Drugs in Mission Viejo. More than 4,500 people attended, sporting their "Drug Free I Can Be Superhuman!" shirts and walking from Mission Viejo High School to Norman P. Murray Senior Center. Our Drug Use Is Life Abuse office distributed more than one million wristbands to public and private schools around Orange County. Some local restaurants and businesses are offering discounts to children wearing their wristbands through October 27. Visit the DUILA website for a full list of offers. OCSD is proud to work together with the community to keep our communities safe and drug-free.
Making Orange County a safe, healthy, and fulfilling place to live, work, and play, today and for generations to come, by providing outstanding, cost-effective regional public services.
