Congratulations to Orange County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Travon Taylor who won his boxing match in “Battle of the Badges” with a T.K.O. in the 2nd round! Ranked #1, Deputy Taylor is now 10-1. On August 1, 2014 he will be taking on reigning Cruiserweight State Champion Brian Stevens from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department at the LA Battle of the Badges.
The “Battle of the Badges” events raise money for Cops 4 Kids & Communities, a non-profit organization committed to changing the lives of at risk youth with compassionate mentoring by law enforcement or other members of the community. All participants in “Battle of the Badges” are Law Enforcement, EMS, Public Safety or Military. We are proud to have Deputy Taylor as a member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department!
